BOBBY BOYD: TWO OF THE BEST FUNK ALBUMS.PERRY SMITH, LAFAYETTE AFRO ROCK BAND MEMBERS.ARTHUR YOUNG, BOBBY BOYD, FRANK ABEL, GENE DUTKIN, HARVEY FUQUA, LAFAYETTE HUDSON, LARRY JONES, PERRY SMITH ( BOBBY BOYD CONGRESS ), RONNIE BUTTACAVOLI.Bobby Boyd.... Singer,saxophonist,writer, Composer,arranger. He arrived in New York after completeing his musical education in Augusta, Ga. His musical adventures began when he signed with Bang Records( United Artist Records). Having international appeal Bobby took his career to Europe where He signed with A&Z Records with his group " The Bobby Boyd Congress" While living in Paris, France...They toured With American artists such as the The Commodores, Lionel Ritchie,and Chaka Khan.And many Jazz artists, also he's very close to'Soul Makoosa's Manu Di Bango. Returning from Europe Bobby has consistently pursued his goals. He got a lift from his God Father (Benson's manager) Jimmy Boyd who introduced him to the great George Benson Out of this friendship with Mr. Benson, he met Roberta Flack, Earl Klugh and others.
